Welcome to my practice.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and researcher, with specializations in health, couples and family issues, and post-traumatic stress. For the past 11 years, I’ve worked with adults, older adults, couples and families to improve:
- - adjustment to changes in life, such as health problems, stress associated with work life, and recovery from difficult and traumatic experiences
- - depression or other difficult changes in mood
- - family and couples communication, overcoming fights and conflicts, and strengthening bonds between couples and family members
I offer both office and home visits.

Psychotherapy, in my opinion, is most effective when it involves another important person in your life- whether it's your partner or your whole family.
Relationships are the foundation of life, and they deserve taking the time and energy to foster.
Cancer or Ongoing Medical Problems
Did you know that more than half of all people who are diagnosed with cancer report significant levels of distress?
I have extensive experience, and passion, for working with people who are living with chronic medical conditions, like cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and others.
I've worked in hospice care, hospitals, outpatient clinics, and the VA. I have substantial experience working with people who are worried about end of life concerns, like quality of life
, making important decisions about medical treatment, getting the best medical treatment you can, and living your best quality of life.
My Office is in downtown Berkeley
@corner of Shattuck & Bancroft Way
